Trytis is an oral combination diabetes medication used to control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. This drug is a combination of metformin, empagliflozin and linagliptin, which reduces blood sugar with three different mechanisms.

Approximately 11% of Iran’s population over 20 years of age suffer from diabetes, and nearly half of them are not aware of their disease.

Nowadays, usage of combined drugs with the lowest number of pills are taken per day and with high effectiveness, has created a great evolution in the control of diabetes and leads to successful treatment. Empagliflozin in this pill is associated with a reduction in mortality due to the complications of cardiovascular diseases, heart failure or diabetic kidney diseases.
